Forever dark nights

In a night forever dark
A raven tells it's tale
A heathen tale
An ancient one
Of gods who are long gone

Oh raven, take my soul with you
To lands I never know
Where pain is far
For those who wait
For salvation at dawns gate

The raven leaves, he flies away
For me its much too late
My spirit will forever stay
And never see dawn's gate

Now hear the words the raven said
And let them be your guard
"Salvation you will never find
in a night forever dark!"
